What's a 'CDVS' ?

Anyway has anyone got a hard copy of a 'Contract Of Employment' to check any breaches of employment?
I ask because these employment contracts seem to change on a daily basis, Dums fav excuse 'check your contract'.

They cant introduce any changes without agreement until national position is resolved.

cdvs think thats van sharing idea
also think the legal side of contract changing would used to have enabled redundancy terms if changes did not suit
now i think all rulings have changed to suit big companies
ie if we dont change terms blah blah etc
leaving no options or compense opt out

My office went into executive action when everyone disagreed to van sharing.

I would speak to your union rep or higher to resolve this problem. I am sure it will have to run by the union first, then your rep will ask your office if you agree to the changes within your office.

Yet when we went on strike one of the reasons was to stop RM doing what you are complaining about. Now you have a right to your view and you have a right to complain, but to be honest you had the option of joining the strike if you disagreed with RMs position, or working if you did agree. As you claim you would be crossing then that is a tacit acceptance of RM introducing CDVs and later starts. You made an adult decision based on the full knowledge of the issues at hand, therefore you must accept the consequences of that decision and CDVs and change of hours looks like one.

To answer your question yes they can change them in practice. In law they need your agreement, in practice they don't. You have to lodge a disagreement on any change in contract you disagree with, you then have to decide whether to work with those changes or go to an ET on constructive dismissal. If you work the new contract for (I think but not sure) 3 months you will be considered as having accepted it.

Employers do have the option of sacking you under the old contract, and then re-engaging you on the new contract. Again you have the choice of accepting the new contract or going for an ET but AFAIK there is no bedding in time its an either or option in this case.

 I think you will find if you do not lodge a disagreement about changes, and work for only one month, you are in fact, by implication agreeing to the changes.(Prior to my starting with R/M this happened to me I took company to ET and won my case.)

You can and I provided and answer albeit which may be wrong as per stokes11eg contribution, so you will need to check that out. However, my point, expressed politely, still answers your question. By not showing your disagreemnent with the new ways of working being imposed did you not implicitly agree to them, and if you go to an ET on a case of "Constructive Dismissal" wouldn't the other side use that to weaken your case.

You may not like the fact that I mentioned one of your previous posts, but it was a pertinent point and one that could have a material effect on any tribunal case you may want to start. Just because I did not agree with your stance does not mean that it has affected my reply, but without a full and frank reply with ALL points taken into consideration what's the point of me doing so. There are consequences to every decision and to ignore them when it becomes uncomfortable merely causes more problems further down the line.
