Planning Dept

Post by Puppetmaster »

(PLEASE DO NOT LAUGH AT THE HEADING)

To join the planning team ,their is a very strict criteria to get in,

First you must never have done a walk in your life
secondly you must have no knowledge of what actualy happens outside, and must never try to gain any knowledge of Deliveries

Thirdly you must not under any circumstances listen to or take advice from people actualy doing the job.

Fourthly your lap top ,wich you must carry with you at all times ,so people recognise how clever you are .

You do not need to cary your lap top with you when you have a coffe and fag break ,wich due to the stress of the job are every 10 minutes or less, lenght of breaks depends upon how important you feel you are. ,

When it all goes wrong as the planning team frequently seeem to do ,blame the computer ,or someonelse ,this will earn promotion.

In the Planning team they never have failure,In many offices Pegus causes massive over spend of budget ,delays in mail ,incease of casual labour wich =increase in theft and abandon mail.but this is not the planning DEPT fault.

If you bring to their attention and problems upon your walk, these are whar are called local issues, wich do not concern them so they just get ignored.

As I am not in the planning team yet ,I can only guess,But i am sure they must worship Crozier,as what better role model their is for failure =Planning dept.

If you wanted to organise a kids party would you call upon the skills of The Planning Dept.?
If you were organising a Drinks party at a brewery would you trust the planning dept to get it right!! ?

Personly If these huge new walks can be done, and done easily on time, wich most Posties on deliveries with huge expirence of deliveries say cannot be done ,their is only 1 soloution
These gods in the planning dept, and we all know how important and clever they think they are ,they must come out of their cosy warm offices ,and show us from start to finnish how to do these walks not just one day but over a couple of weeks in winter.

If they can do these walks, then I take my hat off to them and I will be quiet ,but if they cannot do the walk on time then how are we to be expected to.

Would you trust a Car Mechanic to work on your car ,A guy who has read every book about Engines possible .but never seen one or worked upon 1 in real life ?

A manager in a old job i did as a seventeen year old said to me "Do not ask staff to do something that you would not do" I think it is time that every manager went out with the boys and girls every day just to see what the rounds are like, and that include the prats that think the rounds are timed right with there computers. :mfo

Don't be daft every one knows managers can do any walk in a fraction of the time it takes a bone-idle postman.

It must be true because they are always telling us this.

mind you, you have more chance of seeing the Loch Ness monster than seeing them actually prove it. :nana

Funny how managers describe every walk as 'easy' despite never having done them. Is this lie taught to them at the management school of deception and labotomy?

Now You are being daft,
Christmas is not the responsibility of Planning
But of Local Dims.every year it creeps up upon them by surprise and without warning.
Put it in Plannning dept and nothing would get delivered.

A Manager once told me the reason he became a Manager was that he was a crap Postman.
