sched att/meal relief

Thigs are gettin worse.

Boys in our office finish there deliveries, then go to another office for sorting on ot-diverted mails- its paid at scheduled attendace and for 4 hours, 3 pm til 7.
They were told cause its sched att, they are not entitled to a break, which we used to get, 10 mins it was.

Elsewhere at my sortin office, one lad, who wouldnt extend his packet duty, was told on monday if he done nightshift on ot, it would be paid at overtime rates, and not scheduled rates.

A postie was also told he could not get nightshift unless he cleared his delivery, a walk that takes about 4 hours plus.
Some other posties cut off every day and get in on nights at sched att rates.Mid night til starting time, 6 hrs 15 sched att, they get 40 mins during night and 15 bfore the mob comes in at 06 15.
During a debate wi a senior manager, one postie asked, if pegasus is saying my delivery is 3 hrs 27 mins on a call rate or 78%- the how the fook am i meant to complete the same delivery in the same time doing 100% of the doors?Or do i cut off 22% every day.

The dom shook his helium filled head and wandered away muttering, befor heading to the coffee machine and then watched the posties on the sorting for 2 hours!!!1

Very simple solution, don't do any OT and that way you'll not have to worry about the threats to cut OT rates.

when u do overtime on s/a you do not get payed for breaks

if doing nights as your duty u get the allowance

thats what we are told
