New Years Day Off?
I'm scheduled to have my day off fall on Xmas Eve, which means the following week it falls on the Friday which is New Years Day. Does this mean I'll have the Saturday off instead as my day off falls on the bank holiday?

Sadly no....you will have to go into work on the 2nd ( unless you are in Scotland, IIRC ), but as your rotated day off falls on a public holiday, you will have an extra day added to your leave entitlement next year ( 23.5 days instead of 22.5 - unless you have had days off / annual leave on other bank holidays ) NB; Annual Leave entitlement is something else RM screw up along with wages, overtime payments and traffic figures - keep close tabs on it, and any doubts raise them with your manager!
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?
