swine flu help

Hi folks,
I was recently diagnosed with swine flu and was signed of by the doc for 2 weeks as I was unable to do much more than stay in the house and didnt eat for about 10 days so wouldnt have been much good at work.
On my return to work I was given the usual return to work interview and it was all nice and friendly but this morning I came in and found a letter telling me that I was invited to an interview to discuss giving me a stage 1 warning so my question is that I am sure I read somewhere that cases of swine flu would not trigger a stage 1 as it was exceptional circumstances or something....so I was just wondering if I had imagined this or will I have a case to argue

Royal Mail do not care if you have swine flu, or H1N1 as I call it. It's a stage one for you sadly.

you know we aren't allowed to fall victim to epidemics of anything. we are too important to our beloved masters in RM. If you do get it a first stage, second and an RTU is all you deserve - you feeble little skivers.

RM would rather have the whole office with swine flu and no mail taken out as long as nobody has a nice day or hangover day off & gets away with it .
