I'm looking for a bit of advice here, in our delivery office we have two car parks, the main front one is for vans Managers and the Phgs that open the office early in the morning, the back car park is for the rest of the posties, a phg has left his old car in the main car park for the last 14 months uninsured and untaxed, I use my car on delivery and pay a extra £40 buisness insurance, the reason my son suffers a disabilty, i may need to break off anytime, that's why i need the car near me.
When we come in the back door (Fire Exit) in the morning the phgs has the gangway clutterd scanning tracked items and special deliverys,I open the door and hit a york on many occassions, how my glassses is not broke yet is beyond me, i have approached the manager on a few occassions but nothing gets done, the phg car that's been left in the car park for the last 14 months, my view is, if its unsafe for the road, it must be unsafe in the office car park, is Royal Mail responsible if anyone gets hurt or injured through that car.
and yet when the evening staff come to work at 10am they can park in the main car park, so can other mangers visiting the office, its either everyone in the back car park or nobody in my view, the managers bully us to get your car out of the main car park later if you park it in it, could i get suspended if i said i'm parking in here till that car that's been there for 14 months gets shifted, then i will shift mine.... anybody got any advice on this please...

Car should be removed if it has no tax and insurance,one of you lot accidently prang it,theres no come back.

Even if the car is off the road and on private property and not taxed it needs to be registered as SORN with the dvlc. I think they have the right to remove the car and crush it, the same if it has no tax. At the very least i am sure there is a fine payable

A sorn / liability can be checked on the dvlc's web site as for parking it's needs to be brought to the dim dum's attention and if you prang your car, or his car in the car park your not insured as it is private property

yoour lucky to have a free place to park your car, we struggle to be able to park our private bikes, and as from tomorrow no more provate cars are allowed to be parked in the yard, except DOM's and LM's of course.
