Post by justin time »

Yep, I ordered off the internet yesterday and the only delivery option was £6.50 with a courier, stating they no longer use Royal Mail.

Even when you select RM on many companies online and pay for special del they send courier halfthe time now. I don't want RM to deliver to me out of loyalty but convenience to me as I can pick it up at work. When will companies learn that customers should get what we pay for. Spoke to one company you basic told me under no circumstances would we use RM at moment as it as not reliable enough. When I explained if my item had come RM as planned. Would have had it now and I would not be complaining. About having to arrange. Courier redelivery 6 days on when my next say off was. All they said was it's our business deceision to use what ever delivery service we want and at he moment RM are not fit for purpose. I told them I can decide not to buy from you again and cancelled my order forthwith and bought it elsewhere.

Some people don't live in real world and realise it's not the company or the workers but the management and government that are the problem and stop treat us like s***.
Life's only rosey if you make it that way...... There is life outside of Royal Mail you know!

and if there's no stamps / PO white sticker on it - put it in surcharge - if a item was unsolicited , it might be doing someone a favour , they soon stop sending stuff out when it comes back with a yellow sticker on it .
