Do you still have any backlogs, in my office the backlogs only lasted 1 or 2 days after strikes, but a lot of customers say they are still waiting for items, and all i can say to them is our office is empty every morning.
The managers will not let any one of us go until every last bit of mail has been cleared.. Even i have been receiving items that are up to a week late and still waiting for a packet that was sent 2 weeks ago..

Re: Backlogs
I reckon we were taking out 10% extra most days for a couple of weeks after the strike stand down.
Reckon this week was back to normal.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Backlogs
My office had cleared the (small) backlog from the strikes but the recent buildup of packets has caused a large backlog - there are now multiple yorks of packets sitting around the office waiting to be delivered.
