Strike Action-Left Mail from Saturday

Went in on Monday to 4 boxes left over from Saturdays strike. Manager told Strike Breakers not to touch it, to leave on frame even though they said they would throw it in.
Rang Manager Monday to see if they were prepared to pay overtime for going beyond contracted hours. Came back after about hour and said no. I was to put mail in up to where I would do on a normal day and then bag up. Leave rest till today. Left 3 boxes flats and full box mail.
Got in Today and low and behold, mail had been prepped into frame. Did a bit of investigating and found that a strike breaker who is a Union Member had been given an hours overtime after his duty to come in and prep what I had left.

So they wont pay overtime to strikers but they will to strike breakers. Also this mail could have been prepped for free on the strike day. I believe this Manager has a case to answer for delaying the delivery of Her Majestys mail, as had it been prepped on the Saturday, I would have delivered it on Monday, and not as it has been, today. I have from today, told them that I am cutting off. Took two bags back to the office, and low and behold, who was waiting their to deliver them on his day off was the same s..... who prepped the frame on overtime.

you get them in every office,they are earning money off our backs.only overtime for strike breakers in our office as well,but wait untill christmas when they are desperate and ask us all to help out with ot. it will be sorry, no can do.

Put in a grievance. Managers should not pick favourites ( ), ANd the fact that you offered first and was told no and then he got someone else gives you a case.

we were told no overtime could be booked for strike mail. Also we had to make sure we complied with the USO and stream the mail in priority order of 1st class, DSA, 2nd class and then mailsort.

Well, it just goes to show you, that RM has no control over this strike action as they do not give out the same message to all of their managers. I was told to throw in all of Saturdays mail, and then walksort before anything else. I believe that there is a serious line of grievance to take up here, as there must be a case for discrimination in the workplace. Has anyone else got any views or any legal wizards out there that could give some feedback.
