Despite hearing and knowing personaly Managers who have played around with figures to make sure things in their office look good,I was shocked to hear about one office last week,and this info came from a Manager.
A certain Office gave all its reserve staff their rest day last friday!If this were to be repeated the figures for staff being on strike would be vastly reduced.Also a very popular move
and welcomed by staff who are really unsure or do not care what ever the reason we are srtiking for.This attitude is fine in shorterm,but come jAn when everything kicks off then where will they be.

Our office did that last time in 2007, Line Manager was trying to pull a fast one. - Backfired as the strike was called off at short notice, they had to get a load of temps in to cover the duties, most couldn't speak English!
Wonder what part of the budget that came out of? Our bonus for offices savings?
