Er.....my regular postman has just delivered my business post. Never has been this late before (5.40pm) - whats going on?!

hes on a rolling 3 month contract and still gets overtime......but im his normal round and hes usually here by 1pm latest. He runs on his rounds...never seen that before!

Probably had to cover part of another delivery, all in the name of "modernisation"
The latest I've got mine is 8:55pm.
If Royal Mail gets it's way that'll be the usual time you get it. :roll:

No, I think what you'll find is that eventually you'll end up getting your post around 1-2 in the morning and you'll think it's a really good service again (albeit a day late :roll: ).

Going back to the 2007 strikes,the one that happened on the Sat and following Monday,I got my mail at 7pm on Saturday :shock: and at 5.30 am on the Monday :roll: ,by the same person.This time I actually got my R.M how to scab letter on Fridays strike day,but cant tell you what time as I was engaged elsewhere on a picket :Very Happy .At least my wife will be able to tell me what time the mail comes this Sat.Sorry to say but my D.O where I live has 100 % attendance,but thank f**k I dont work there.
