Looks like it could be a long dispute.....

Post by shrew1 »

Just read Mandelson saying that he wants to see the 2007 agreement fully implemented, as he says it is a fair agreement for all sides. Not a good sign then, thought this bloke was supposed to be keeping out of the dispute. :hmmmm :arrrghhh

didnt the 2007 agreement for phases 3/4 say things would be worked out locally between local managers and the union? Working side by side to see what action etc was needed? Wasnt that part of the agreement and not EA? When did the local discussions take place then?

Yes, he was spouting on about how 'fair' the Agreement was on Sky News earlier in the day ... not sure which 2007 Agreement he was referring too .. surely it wasn't the 2007-2009 Pay and Modernisation Agreement .. :left: :chuckle

Let's face it, with the Labour Party in steep decline, Mandy will be looking elsewhere for employment, there is thope for the country ...

:pray that he steps in to fill the shoes of the disgraced and unwanted Tony (I want to be King of the World) Blair and become the 'queen' (oops, sorry) 'presidento', of Europe .. because that is just the job for this preening, talentless pillock! .. imho

I like the way the management will quote chapter and verse from the 2007 pay and agreement and want us to stick to it.
A few months ago when we were arguing with our dom about absorption and the way he was going against the 2007 agreement he said he didnt know anything about it and challenged our union rep to show it to him. This prompted our union rep to go to the managers office and get the file for the the dom.
I hope the union stay strong and we go out on strike at least one more time.
I know it will make a difference for our future

Considering Lord Meddlesome says 'it's got nothing to do with me guv' he seems to have a lot to say on the subject.
Maybe he should take his mate Adams advice and "SHUT UP" :dance

The TA will NOT be doing any Postal deliveries, ever, end of, it not exactly a Civil emergency , the TA is over worked and under paid as it is and will be unpaid until April.
