I don't think 35hr week and £100 pay rise are the sort of things you should joke about!

We wish to correct our earlier reporting of a Royal Mail press release this morning, where some numbers were transposed due to a technical error.
Royal Mail are in fact introducing a 100hr week and a £35 pay rise to striking postal staff.

Ah yes - but we can take a joke. We know what you are taking - and where. I won't bid you welcome to this forum because quite frankly - you're not.

This comment surprises me. I am ex forces and we always joked about death and when mates were killed we always used to take the piss out of them, not the act of dying, just the antics they got up to when they were alive. IMHO there is a difference about joking about death, and wishing or hoping for someone's death. The Original Post did not wish or hope for Croziers death, they just used it as part of the joke. Perhaps its my strange outlook on life or the fact that on occasion people who do not know me have attempted to end my life, that I think there are more things to worry about in this world than a joke that mentions someone's death.

Trueblue your so right with what you say people take it to task the sense of humour has all but bitten the dust it really has !!!
That very thin line has been drawn between sense of humour and the old conduct code !!!
Mr Crozier probably would not worry about you really , you would just be part of the savings baby just part of the savings !!!

People need to lighten up so what if someone has passed a comment about crozier dying.
Ok i understand this site is avaiable to G/P,media etc etc and crozier has a family all that B/S.
BUT we are in a major battle here for our future working conditions and if crozier has his way were up s**t creek with out a paddle.
Plus it was said in jest and to be frank if it wasnt i still wouldnt have had a problem with that comment does that mean i have to grow.
Each to there own opinion .
