"Mr Crozier added that while he hoped an outline agreement would stop the strikes, it would take "a couple of months" to agree any final deal."
Lets pull that statement apart!
To me he seems to be saying, and call me cynical,
"Lets stop the strikes and earn as much for RM for Christmas as we can, then in the new year [when mail drops and we don't care what you do] we will stuff you!"

Its fair to say that the contributors to this thread are from differant areas of the country but the writing on the wall reads the same.
At least three colleagues have said to me this morning if there is a sell out their union subs stop pronto. Could be a mass exodus.
Lets hope that before taking his seat around the table at TUC headquarters this morning, Dave Ward took the time to gauge the feeling of the membership, the people who he represents and pay his wages.

Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

and me i'll be gone, if they stuff us on this. Might as well get stuffed for free than pay £2.93 a week for it.

Re: A couple of months!
I have and will remain supportive to the cause until they sell us out I would not cope with the smug intent of I told you so from management.
Sad to say it ladys and gents but if we let go like we did last time I will be out Im all for standing side by side but when the big guys sell you out at the top it's time to jump ship. We got seen of last time was not much of a deal as far as I could see its ended up like this. For me there are a issue's here that concern me and Money is the least of them sure they could do with sharing there big bonuses a little more farely, stop informing the public of decreasing this that and the other when there making near on million pound a day. On top of this is the pension rot, Bullying Harrasment of which I have been a victim. Future work loads and hours. I already have a duty which is not acheivable I see about one break a week, because I am now aware of how tasty there bullying can be. No if they sell me out I feel it is not worth the fee or the fight sorry guys at rock bottom. :lfo :cfo :mfo
