Surely staff in delivery should have been off thursday or friday, staff day off friday this week will be day off saturday next week,bonus for them but not exactly great for everyone else!

I'm off both days but i'm certainly not gloating, i'll be giving some of the guys who I know are struggling some of my days pay.

04.00 29th october 04.00 30th october Mail Centres (All Functions Processing Distribution Delivery) and MTW's (as this weeK)
06.00 30th october 06.00 31st october MDECs
21.00 30th october 21.00 31st october all Delivery Offices and Collection hubs who do not work in mail centres (as this week)

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I think this will be more effective, what are deliveries going to do on Friday as the mail will not be processed :nana

Be a bit of a nightmare for delivery on Monday though :cuppa jobs a good one :dance

They'll get some work to us somehow, it will certainly be more effective than this week's poorly planned strikes though.

Hoping that strikes will be called of but our MC was on strike today yet a heap of mail came into our delivery office, never got finished till 1:30pm....dreading saturday
