Lets try this.

Post by postghost »

So I guess we will have managers delivering the special again next week during IA.

If all we get as postal workers is lies and constant deception of facts and figures, lets find out what these guys are saying to OUR customers....

I'm going to post a special delivery letter to myself next week. Now chances are that managers will already be struggling to maintain the "guaranteed before 1pm"
I know it will cost me money, but f**K it. Would be interesting and would love the chance to question a manager and see what they have to say.

Lets see how they cope when I go to the door to tell them to "wait a minute" I will then spend 3 mins looking for my keys. Upon answering the door I will endeavour to complete this simple instruction of "sign here please" by dropping the pen several times, fill the card in wrong, and then keep the pen along with card and "forget" to take the letter before thanking him and closing the door, retreating to my comfy armchair and cup of coffee.
If they persevere further, I will then spend another two minutes to answer the door when I will then tell them I have just noticed its after 1pm. I will then voice my concerns to the manager and explain I am unhappy at my customer experience with Royal Mail on this day.
I wonder how long I could have them answering my questions and listening to me drone on about the state of the country and politicians, those banks eh??? 10, 15 minutes perhaps?. All the while, he constantly remembers the dozens of other specials that he still has to deliver............after 1pm.

I would genuinely find interest in watching these guys handle it when the pressure is on THEM!!! Furthermore, explain to ME (as a customer) why they think RM is such a shambles.

only thing is that RM are not guaranteeing the specials while we are on strike, so don't think any of the managers will be the least bothered.. :arrrghhh
