On my duty today this is the question i was asked most.
To be honest i constantly fumbled to give them a straight answer, and one that the public would be understanding about in a sympathetic way.

I am not attacking anyone, or taking sides in this post, i just want someone to give me the answer in ONE sentance to this question.......

Clearly the above request is not possible?

One sentance is a bit hard mate when there are lots of different reasons. Main one being new unworkable conditions being forced. Hows that?

tell them royal mail want to have a predominately part time workforce that will result in customers only getting a delivery 3 times a week instead of 6,its where they want us to be .

It's not possible to give you an answer in one sentence. I suggest that you spend some time reading posts on here for the answers. But if it were possible then it would probably be the longest sentence in history and it would have to be written by Carlsberg.

I for one am not prepared to stand by and watch the service we provide being slashed for the sake of the private sector fat cats
waiting to pick us off, we are the Queen's Royal Mail, not a governments profit and loss account.

are you for real bullying,harrasment not to mention save the postal service job security(fulltime) pensions,mandelson ,labour,foriegn investers to name a few

Many of us have different reasons ,mine ,impossible size rounds ,threats from RM if cannnot do the rounds withinn the time the computer says you have your pay stopped? simple?
Walk/rounds are not tested in real life and RM do not want them to be either,CWU is calling for walks to be independently tested ,Who is scared of this not the posties but RM !
