Gone were the politicaly correct airy fairy word's

They did some plain speaking for once
Thats why I will give my full support to the strike
If they had fluffed this one then the cwu would have leached away members

But their strong stance has shown they are prepaired to fight for a fair negotiated settlement on our behalf.

Are YOU willing to do the same ( silly question really, I already know the answer to that :chuckle

It was time they came out and said this stuff. We have known this for a while and been saying it. Higson is a union buster, but this idea of making promises and withdrawing them then waiting till its to late and putting back. He is also trying to get the managers to walk after the letter he sent them yesterday. He has a problem there though as most of them don't have the backbone to stand up against him

1 minute 15 seconds of it is on Yahoo - A ITN news clip - Billy was obviously not comfortable with the situation & hesitant , but he did some typically Scouse straight-talking nailing Mandy ; & came over well with conviction

Nice to hear facts put across in working class speak rather than the spin & rhetoric demonstrated by others!

Shame it's already being edited to make them look like rabble rousers!

But,yeah,Dave and Billy..... :Applause

Now the lines have been drawn, let's stand proud and show the management we mean it! We got suckered in 2007,and conned into going back....let's not make the same mistake!!!!

Seriously,if we lose this one, there won't be much of a "job" to go back to....morale and conditions are already as bad as they can get,so let's show some backbone!!!
If we wind up losing everything we've fought for so far through this, let's make sure we take the fatcat scum at the top with us!!!!!!!!!!!!

VICTORY TO THE WORKFORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
