on sick leave during strikes

I have been on sick leave for 9 days now with a bad back, but i was wondering will i have my pay docked for the strike day? i dont mind as i am all for the strikes but i was just wondering!

i also off sick stress anxiety deprssn all work related
wonder how many staff off sick due to ea by rm
3 i know of in my office stress hbp work related

Be careful with the advice here gents - you will NOT have your pay abated is you are already on sick leave AND have passed your trial period (if, for example, you are a new entrant).

However, check when you return (or by calling the office Sat/Monday) to ensure that your pay isn't inadvertently stopped. Your DOM or Line Manager has to complete a pretty complicated spreadsheet for HR Wages in Sheffield and it's quite easy to make a genuine error.

My DOM doesn't do wages , :oops: too complex.A postie does it for him i kid you not.

i cant remember but in order to get paid you need to have gone sick either 24 or 48 hrs before a strike
