Rite i am on the north west had a big dust up with my DIM today with regards to the use of 30,000 casual staff during our up and coming I/A.
I said to him that i was amazed he hadnt given us the london talk and told him it was all bolloxs anyway.
I also said to him that it is not just down in london R/M DIMS are bullies, intimadaters and harrasses but its wide spread across the country and is writh in our office. Which he disagreed with veomently and asked for examples so i obliged and gave him about half a dozen examples.
Seen as i stumped him with my examples he swiftly moved off the subject and said that london walks were easy . I replied you think walks over 4hrs are easy and he replied yes so i told him he was talking a load of twaddle but not in those words i chose more stronger ones which again was met with silence.
By this time the common senario which is happening with myself lately on chatting to the DIMS is that my head exploded again as im so sick and tired of hearing this crap and once again i had to walk away and cool down before i said somethink really bad. So your not alone london and there are offices up and the down the country speaking up for you boys and will not be brained washed by the R/M propaganda train as whats been happening down there is now happening up here.
When i first came onto this site i read what was happening to you boys with horror and couldnt believe in most instances what i was reading. The stupid thing about it was i never thought it would go nationwide how nieve i was . But whats been going on down south for months is now up in the north west and boy oh boy do we have one major fight on our hands this time around. R/M are playing hard ball and in my 14 yrs service ive never witnessed the tactics used by R/M and if we dont change it now forget about a future in R/M as there wont be one .

Thanks for your support
i think we all agree this isn't about london, rm just thought if they could crush us in the summer months then the rest of the country would fall like a pack of cards, but i think the ballot result showed how wrong they are were all united in one fight

Three Managers and one wannabee Manager from my office here in Belfast went over to London today to work during the strikes. Think they are heading to Wimbledon. Total waste of space.

Hi Monkey Boy..and all the rest of you on here from all over the country..I'm a rep down in London..and want to totally assure everyone on this forum that the London thing is a complete load of bollox !!!!
Managers and casuals have been flooding the offices..and not just to get thru the backlogs..but also because the new duty structures and revsions are totally unworkable in many offices.
The idea that we've got it cushy..another load of !!
The London South West branch said way back in June..if one office was attacked we were gonna ballot and we bloody well did when they hit Wimbledon..No bloody pontificating !!
I was among many calling for the national ballot way back on the 17th July at the meeting at Central Hall in Westminster..and i must admit to being worried about getting the full support of the rest
of the country..but the 76% gave me great encouragement and it really lifted spirits down here to see how much you support the action that has allready been taken.
The whole situation is now a real propoganda war as well as a dispute involving real stoppages/strike action and serious loos of income to make our point.
It really is a case of who blinks first and we're going to have to keep our nerve and put our faith in Wardy and the negotiating team...
Cheers

Re: London walks are easy
our dims day off today, his stand in said managers were going down to london and doing complete walks in 2hrs. what a load of old cobblers. they are pushing the london angle, but we all know the score. just mention b&h, bonuses for running down the company, suspended managers, acas. they can't wait to get away. unless the conversation revolves around their pre prepared answers they don't know what to say. they haven't an original idea or opinion whatsoever. :cfo :mfosticks wrote:Hi Monkey Boy..and all the rest of you on here from all over the country..I'm a rep down in London..and want to totally assure everyone on this forum that the London thing is a complete load of bollox !!!!
