Christmas Mail Centre

So during the Christmas holidays I'm on holiday from university. I was a postman for 2 years, and both Christmas' I went to the mail centre. I was just wondering if I called my old manager asking him about going to the local mail centre for the 2 week Christmas period what the answer would most likely be?

Has anyone done this or known anyone who has?

Recruitment seems to be centralized through the rm website nowadays,
it will have a casual staff link somewhere
but most probably they will want you to commit to about about a month I'm remembering from previous years.
different hours and shifts are usually available .

On the news yesterday about recruiting 30,000 this time instead of 15,000 yet 'Jobs' on the Royal Mail website now shows nothing within twenty miles.
