Remember that cosmetic excersise that :lfo introduced? So you could allegedly decide as staff what to spend a bit of money on to improve your office?

And when you came up with an idea the management said 'no no no can't use it for that' and the money went into their own pot?

Now, if you need to book half an hour over to complete your walk and you get the third degree interrogation off budget obsessed liners for actually doing the job you are meant to do.... which is all of us... read on.

Been talking to a builder in my local tonight - very reliable. He knew all about "FLF" as he called it! The company he worked for a few years ago made an absolute packet doing silly little jobs for outragously good prices for Royal Mail under the guise of "FLF". He even knew that if it wasn't spent in an office one year, the office wouldn't get it next year - so managers paid for 5 MPH signs, speed bumps, anything to get the money spent so they would get it the following year. Monet that :lfo lied about saying it was for 'our people's ' benefit.

He attended so many money is no object jobs in various RM locations in my area - his knowledge of the network was superb -
that he and others doing these jobs saw RM as easy money. Can you blame them?

So, we have managers vastly overpaid, maintainence jobs vastly overpaid - what a waste - and the people who do the actual job of delivering letters squeezed to the limit.

Answer that :mfo :lfo and :cfo ?????

Our rest room kitchen was created with FLF, it cost thousands to create apparently and I must say its the worst fitted kitchen I've ever seen, in the real world it would've cost about £500 to buy & fit. We only use it to get hot water now as its been turned into a D2D room. Well done RM yet again money well spent!
