ANY OTHER PPL IN OFFICES BEEING TIMED ON SORT ,ALSO MANAGEMENT JUST STANDING WITH CROSSED ARMS ,LOOKING DOWN AISLE WHILE WE SORT ,IS THIS NOT INTIMADATION,N HARRASMENT? EVERY DAY IT HAPPENS ,ITS BLOOMIN GREAT FOR MORALE,ARE THEY STUPID ,AS THEY WILL NEVER GET THERE STAFFS RESPECT ETC . OH AND STOP CHATTING ,I COULD GO ON AND ON!!!!! WHY ARE THEY GETTING AWAY WITH THIS !!!!!

Standing with arms crossed and a fixed stoney expression on their faces We used to call them "watch towers" . When you have been in the job a while you ve seen it done many times. Next they will just stand behind you at your frame, in the past i ve asked them to please collecting in my flats and they walk off looking very tough.
Dont get me wrong i ve got on with most managers over the years but some do make you laugh

How bout this one then? Came out of some flats, doing cut-offs, asst manager standing there "talking" into his mobile. ( More like filming me...)
Across street, another postie doing part of same cut-off witnessed it too. Later found out, ANOTHER postie was doing different part of the round.
( This whole section only takes bout 20 - 30 mins for 1 person.)

When I raised it, and it got back to him, excuse of asst manager was,"I was helping to deliver the cut offs too."

Funny thing was, no mail in his private car, and he drove off after realising he was well sussed out. LOL!

The manager at our place sent an underling to the toilets to look for one of the lads who had gone for a dump!!! he should have fished it out and took it to the manager and said "do you believe me now? ".

They've been doing pretty regular prep and IPS speed check in my DO. No one's came up too short so far, but there's a few who've done close to 35 in a minute or more. This screws up themselves and everyone else.

There's lots of staring down rows and standing behind posties back. Maybe it's cause they fancy us, but mostly they're just being fudds.

Worst is the Patrols.
"What time are you going to finish?" ask's the DOM.

Yep, been followed to the toilet. Had a manager beat a perstop box right behind me singing loudly, whilst I was sorting. He used to do this when I came back from meal breaks to get a reaction. Now he's acting shift manager! Been body watched by 5 managers looking at me tip out bags for 20 minutes, half of it was in silence like they turned to stone or something. Closest bodywatch at literally 2 meters for about 7 minutes whilst I was hand stamping - very strange experience. The wierd enclosed world of the mail centre where those who feel stronger by bullying people have dozens of victims to choose from. VOTE YES to weed out these c**t's.

You've hit the nail on the head! If you feel your been watched, harrassed, victimised or been treated differently by any form of management. Keep a daily account of your working day in a diary. Write down what you see happen to you but also write down how you see others been treated. Whether they be treated better or worse than you. Get it down on paper with the day, dates, times and locations. Management rely on you not keeping a note of what we see and do each day. Many of us can't remember what we done 2 days ago never mind 2 weeks ago. I have only recently started to keep a diary and write all my observations down for each day. No matter how stupid or trival it sounds write it down. WRITE IT ALL DOWN! It really is quite amazing how it begins to fill up. Myself and a couple of other lads are all keeping diaries now. We all know management are on a crusade. We are all human and are all capable of making a mistake. It's all part of life but now Royal Mail management cannot even accept that simple genuine mistakes can happen. They now see this as an opportunity to flex their power and stamp their authority. They can flex their power and stamp their authority all they want. They just better make sure and treat every single person exactly the same. NOT ONE RULE FOR JOE AND A DIFFERENT RULE FOR SAM. Cause God only help them when our little daily diaries come out of the woodwork and show what really has been happening. We have to stand up to management and we need the Union to help us fight.

Ok , You'd get the tw** of a foreman in industry and stupidvisers in factories & works but they'd usually handle things better than these idiots in charge .
