biting the bullet

a quick count this morning of york's with work on them to how many walk's we have. each walk now has. 4 boxes of pre sorted including some of friday's and today's intra. 12 boxes of unsorted letter's. 11 boxes of unsorted flat's and about 2/3rds of a york of packet's for every walk. the look on our bosses face when he was told that 20% of the walk's cut of and pouched work back yesterday was worth a day's wage's. was also told by the nine elms driver scab labour is sorting the SE london work at dartford over the weekend so come monday it's going to even worse. if they want the work cleared now they're going to have to bite damn hard on the bullet.

I've got 8 boxes under my frame,many others the same,a york of packets as does all the drivers, and there's about 4 yorks of mail not sorted yet.

the work does seem to be clearing, only because people arent working to rule so much atm. no ones taking their full break which is effectively losing 30mins even if they dont come in early/or finish later than their finishing time. if taken the 30mins owed then that'll be plenty of bundles brought back. theres also people still preping d2d's in their own time ;/ i got to remind them its part of the duty time aswell
other than that the pressure is still on, at least half the frames have loads of bundles/flats that need to be done & i doubt the time will be found if they work properly
