If Royal mail accept CWU 3 month moritorium

Post by jockstrapp »

I'm worried that Royal Fail are now talking to the CWU after we announce a national ballot. We are heading to the busy time of the year and I fear RM will pull a fast one by agreeing to talks. The CWU will suspend strike action for three months, RM will get all the mail delivered up till Christmas then start all this sh1t all over again. I hope we are not f#cked again by Billy boy. :so there

RM have had the option of a moratorium which they have turned down repeatedly in favour of taking their dictatorial route ... it is inconceivable that CWU HQ would contemplate an unconditional strike-free negotiating period ... that would be the last straw for even the most staunch CWU rank and file supporters, and that includes me!

If this happens i'll probably continue to pay fees but thats all it will be. I think a lot of people will be the same and if they decide to go strike next year i'll refuse and work. Going back to Uni next year and leaving RM so i'm only prepared to support the CWu this time. Next year i won't. I'm sure lots of people up and down the country will be having the same attitude. Also Ward and Hayes must go if this happens.

Only if all the executive action planned or begun is withdrawn would I agree to any kind of moritorium, and if they start playing games we are out again.
I for one can never have any kind of pally times with any dim/doms they have proven to me how low they will go.
When all this is over and if am still in the job (hope not) it will give me great pleasure when ADAM comes for their jobs.
