This is taking into account Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, also taking into account the 20% door to door lay in per day, preping of the walk, redirections and kill offs, the 11kg bag weight unless you have flats then its 6kg. The hour and 35 mins sorting the 40 min meal realif and the 20 min cycle ride there and the 20 min cycle ride back.
I believe all is unachievable.
06.20 start time
06.20 - 06.45 clear in and
06.45 - 08.05 sorting
08.05 - 08.45 meal relief
the rest of this is to take into account the rest of our daily work, however this is not to time, its just an exercise to state times given for prep.
08.45 - 09.00 missorts
09.00 - 09.20 cycle to delivery
09.20 - 12.50 3hrs 30mins delivery which includes waiting aronud our deliveries for the bag meets and customers opening there doors to either sign for or just recieve a packet.
12.50 - 13.10 return cycle to delivery office
This then leaves 1hrs 33mins prep. Within that time we have to clear in sorted mail, fold in D2Ds 20%, bag and sticker all redirections, bag all items in need of repair, que for Priority Items, prepair delivery bags for delivery 11kg max per bag not unless you have the misfortune to have flats then its 6kgs, do daily safety check on bike and toliet refresments.
However RM believe its reasonable to have an average of 640 delivery points to the RM2000 and if an average frame has 3 letters per fillet thats 640 x 3=1920 letters x that by 10 items per minute = 600 items an hour = 3hours 12mins plus I haven't even mentioned the packet bag from the DBF, add that to the kill offs and redirections every body should be leaving 2 bags of mail per day and thats modernisation
