Whats happening on Boxing Day?
My Mrs has been told by her company boss she has to work as Boxing day isnt a bank holiday. Also because the Monday is being classed as a bank holiday she is being told she has to work that too as her shop opens every bank holiday anyway. Weird huh? Anyway, shes decided to go sick over Christmas...
How does this coporate bullshit apply to us? I heard RM asked Postcon to suspend the USO. Was it accepted?

Re: Boxing Day
Your wifes company is in fact incorrenct as far as i am aware. Bank Holiday is in fact a holiday. If you are a Mon-Fri type employee then you also receive the Monday off in lieu as you would be off Sunday anyway. When its a business open 7 days a week then the day the bank holiday falls on is a holiday, however if they are wanting her to work they will have to give her a day in lieu (owed to her)
