Number Of Drops on Delivery Route / Length Of Delivery

What is the average number of drops on a delivery route? (I'm doing 480) How long for an average delivery span? (Mine is currently 4 hours) This is on a rural round. Area Manager claiming it averages at 500-600 for 3.5 hrs

its very difficult to say. my round has 432 calls but are very spaced out with long drives etc.takes roughly just over 4 hours. other duties in our office have 500+ calls but a lot less walking

In my office the calls vary from just under 600 for a townwalk down to a rural of 203. Time taken for the walks also varies from about 2hr 10min to about 5hrs. Mine is semi rural with mainly large detached houses and a small parade of shops/ flats. 363 calls takes about 4hr 15 min including 30 mins total travel.

560 drops.....meant to be 4.5 hrs, can take anything up to 5 hrs.

In our area town drops are again! 500 drops 4 hours and approx 5 miles walking / cycling this is however only a measure off road/ tarmac as i cant find software that can add driveways(a huge variable) to that.

563 calls before i went on hol back tmrrw can take 3.5 hrs every door 4-4.5 hrs

The reason I mentioned this is because under the revision in our D/O, one round was "collapsed" and spread onto the two neighbouring rounds, mine and a colleagues! Mine was 400, now 480. We're both struggling to finish near our finishing time and often go over.

van delivery 750 drops
280 are terraced houses
takes between 4 and 5 hours to deliver also have to do 2 bag drops for a walk and take out oversized/overweight specials for 2 walks

630 drops ,200 of which are up stairs,(timelocked flats) use bike & walk .Delivery time 4 - 5 hrs without break.

In our area town drops are again! 500 drops 4 hours and approx 5 miles walking / cycling this is however only a measure off road/ tarmac as i cant find software that can add driveways(a huge variable) to that.

If u can be arsed you can work out your mileage using Gmaps pedometer, mines 10mile for 100% call rate

I have 408 but spaced, steep and heavy due to the demographics of the area. However, as it's close to the office and has conveniently placed safe drops, it's rare that I struggle with weighty bags. Takes an average of 3 hours to deliver dependent on the amount of blueys, how much sleep I got the night before and how chatty I am on the day!

mines a supposed 3.5 hr duty with 528 calls, about 6 blocks of flats in this, but no pouch boxes and use a post office and shop to store the mail, until last week i could do it in this time, but as it was heavy i went over everyday and was told to take d2d's out in seperate bundles rather than prep them, which caused an argument and me to go over even more and have the driver drop me pouches, the manager reckons its more efficient to not prep the d2d and carry a bundle of mail and a bundle of d2d - what a joker!, he even give me the d2d's are a seperate payment and done in ure own time at 1st even tho ive argued with the main dom over this in the past. There just a bunch of jokers! :mfo

oh and its about 7 miles on average

There is no argument on d2d prep time, 20% per day prepped in Work time....end of...

600+ 3hours 30 minutes - its smack on on a normal day - mixture of terrace, semi detached and detached with the odd maisonette thrown in as well. Pedometer says 8 mile average 9 mile on a bad day (if I don' cut off).

What i did was use google earth and used it to measure right to the door ,it was pain to do but my walk came out (on 100% call rate) at about 8.5 miles (R.M said it was 5 )
I have about 560 drops and it takes 4 Hours + on a normal day
