They won't be able to afford it as they will be paid so little!

All they will get is what they get whilst on benefits plus £10 extra per week if they turn up every day just like the late 80's. When I left school I was on a YOP (Youth Oppourtunities Programme) £25 a week for doing a full timers job I did'nt put up with that for very long

"Capitalist parasites" aka businesses have traditionally trained apprentices; are you saying that's wrong in some way, or is it another example of that good old inverse snobbery of those at the bottom of the pile?

Maybe some doing this scheme will be saved from walking the streets in all weathers delivering letters at 50+ years old, and that's got to be a good thing judging by the amount of moaning done on here by those who do it currently....
