Don't bottle it !

Post by londonboy »

Money where mouth is time for us EMPLOYEES who talk the talk ... and no more passing the buck by UNION (to us poor sods) .
HARD, Consistent Strikes..... Going by this forum that will be no problem, huh? .
Lets hope the Union don't cock it up this time like they did last time with some technicality .. remember that?
No didn't think so
Most people don't seem happy about the way these wallies want to ruin the business . Nope not talking about Ward and Hayes
Right .. only way is hard strikes ... are we up for it?
No backing down by UNION or EMPLOYEES !

with september coming and autumn pressure royal mail will have to raise the anti if they want offices to achieve their budgets.as they have done previously in our office they have stopped peoples o/t harassed people over booking o/t carried on with unofficial sorting tests.if they carry on in this way our office which was very pro royal mail in 2007 could yet see sense and realise now is the time to stand together.

The people at the top at Royal Mail want us to fail, they want us to strike and they want to demonise us using the media. The government no matter what party want to privatise us and they only way to do this is to ruin what is one of the last genuine public services where an old lady in Scotland can send her grandson a birthday card in Cornwall . These people are evil, have no empathy with humankind and sicken me. This is not a rant but a frighteninly cold conclusion. We cannot win but we will still fight

Like in 1997 we were forced to strike because the then incumbent management were determined to reduce the CWU to a talking shop, they told their managers so Ive heard, you wont have to worry about the Union they are finished, well they were wrong then and this time I hope its still the case that good will out.No doubt about it this time we are in a fight to the wire, this time we will win, despite Union busters, lawyers, media smears etc we will triumph. We must do our bit at local level and leave the rest to the people at National Level, this time we are in uncharted waters but give in ?Never! :cfo :mfo

I'm waiting for a couple of things in the post, the non arrival of one will seriously inconvienence me and I will have to make alternative arrangements. The other, I can probably live without, but would like it none the same. More important to me though, is that the industrial action is sucessful. I would be rather be put out for a couple of weeks as opposed to the rest of my life without a worldwide unique service that the Royal Mail (Or rather it's rank and file workers ) now provides albeit not quite as good as I first remember it. (No fault of the rank and file though.)

Good Luck :nana :nana :nana :nana

The goverment have disowned us we cannot win but we can fight (paul newman in cool hand luke) we will not win, the miners fate was sealed just as ours is about to be its pull up the drawbridge and fcuk you and there is nothing in the long term we can do except restore our pride and for now make the little things keep us going (manager on delivery at 3pm on a sat afternoon) roll on september !
