but i dont want to take any days off since i only been here for 7 months. is there anything the manager could/might do to help me so i can still work whilst im really f****d like getting someone to do half my walk. i was thinking of proposing, that i give up my owed rest day in return of paying someone to help me for 2 hrs for the rest of the week (if he says no and to take day off)
thanks

If you're really that ill ....get home !
Do you really want your work colleagues to catch this as well ?

If your ill take time to rest. What is the point of going in to work when your not feeling 100%. But if you really need the cash then go ahead & work.

You've got a cold mate,if you had flu you cant even get out of bed let alone contemplate doing half your walk.!!
Any married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing.

True, also, I tend to find that once I'm out on delivery my head tends to clear and I feel much better so pop a couple of paracetamol, take some tissues and cut off of you need to.dubdaz wrote:You've got a cold mate,if you had flu you cant even get out of bed let alone contemplate doing half your walk.!!

If your feeling really rough and its not getting better you should go home sick and totally rest up for a couple of days to let your body fight the virus.
However i have been in the situ whereupon i was on a stage 2 and did work through a stinking cold which made me feel ill for a couple of weeks.
You could try this : turn in and inform a manager that its gone to your stomach and that you need to work inside on light duties to stay close to a toilet and see what he / she says.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

If you're really good (and don't get easily embarrassed) take something that'll make you sick and then go into his office and throw up all over his officekrussel wrote:redpin wrote:ye your right. still struggled really bad today, felt like i was about to "give in" as my legs started hurting/had a temperature despite it being a light day. just worried how im going to cope tomorrow when i'll be out there for more than an hour longer
