Our Dim told us that from now on we no longer have to fill in our OT docket but just tell him and he will put it straight into the computer. He has now taken away any blank OT dockets so that we cannot fill one in. Is this standard across RM?
We got told that it was and that we were one of the last offices to get it.
If we no longer have to write out a docket can we see on the computer that he is putting in the correct amount. It is not that we dont trust him but surely we are allowed to check before he sends it off.
The time has come to stop turning the other cheek, time to stop shaking our heads in bitter dismay, time to stop mumbling our angry words.

OT dockets are still in use in my office (not that the manager likes to pay any OT) but keep your own record and make him sign your docket just to be sure.

We stopped filling out the docket sheets ages ago in our office,we tell the lino how long we went over by and much merriment thus ensures when he accuses you of being too `slow and trying it on`.
How we all laugh at this daily routine,needless to say overtime is no longer done and the poor sap has to cover walks on peoples days off as nobody wants to do them either,still if it works for them.

We've still got them, again they don't like paying OT, we're getting people told they will be taken off their duty, so a runner can do it, I believe we've got any local battle brewing - I mean they don't want to pay OT, but they don't want you to cut off either, can't have it both ways, should of got the values right when they Georouted us :)
Our overtime dockets went a long time ago. Any overtime worked in the office is now recorded on a daily sheet, and our manager sends it in on a weekly basis. Generally it works okay, after the usual hassle and banter, but i still keep my own record of hours worked .......just in case

We sign a sheet with name. pay no etc on and hours claimed. By the time I get back, usually about 2pm there are NO managers there to put anything direct on to a computer. Just for interest sake in my office of about 110 posties I counted 47 had claimed overtime one day last week which was not a particularly heavy day and this is typical of most days.
