Well we are a forum for discussion of matters relating to Royal Mail so there is one good reason. As we are neither an official body and are not recognised by either the CWU or RM feel free to discuss anything you want. As long as you put it in the right forum. :Very Happy

And OT, i'm always short, its a cycle on a thursday morning I enter the office get my post then am already heading to office as I open it to point out there mistake again and justify why I think they are wrong. I have no problem being paid monthly but if it ain't right now I will not agree to it going monthly.

Non payment of door2door monies is a regular thing in our office. We're forever chasing them up about it.
Can't imagine what it would be like on a monthly basis ...

Monthly pay has always been a contentious issue for various reasons. A couple of years ago the idea of fortnightly pay was mooted. This is a method used in many other countries and may be preferable to monthly.

No thanks ,weekly suits me fine. You would need to trust RM to get things right with monthly pay, their track record on getting things right, trust building ,fairness ,not ripping their people off, all falls a bit short of ideal :chuckle

That may well be down to your local management or person responsible for submitting the paperwork etc. In a large delivery office we rarely if ever have such problems, mainly because the people responsible (not liners) for dealing with such matters do an excellent job, and we get paid the week after for all D2D's.

Monthly pay was part of pay and modernisation phase 4, along with a new delivery model ie longer del spans, but as hopefully you all know RM has decided to remove themselves from the P&Mod agreement before the ink was even dry on the paper so at the moment monthly pay is of the table unless that is if we dont stand up and be counted NO MORE SAVINGS NO MORE DEALS.
