4hr 15min walks

the new 4hr 15 min walks what a load of crap.first they tell us we have 2 lose 7 walks or people lose jobs so we have a vote lose 7 walks which get split on to the other remaining walks which equals a long day surely a health and safety issue,the full timers start at 4 15 and they prep the walks then the p/t come in at 8.30 bag up then go on marathon walks at 9 (ha ha) then work till 2.30 everyday including saturday which is a normal day,do these people not have lives to live at weekend,guess not beware coming to an office near u , surely this cannot b right

Its right most of the part timers in our office including myself work 9-2 whatever the day inc sat sometimes we get an early finish sat but not to often. And as far as getting out after baggingf up etc your office is lucky that an 8.30 start is out by 9 we are normally out between 10/10.30ish, my walk takes over 4.15 already though my dom won't have it so i book OT everyday I do not cut off.

In our office as of Monday we will have no part timers also 4 hour delivery tops 3 and a half hour walk then 30 mins for packets, special deliveries and firms. Also 1 small van for the 2 posties. We had 6 drivers now only 2 and we lost 4 walks, pretty sh***y eh but to have no part timers is a massive bonus.

But what do you think will happen when a vacancy arises, or are you in an office were RM have giving you an agreement that there will be no P/T staff, because if you are you should get a copy of that agreement and send it to HQ, somehow I doubt it very much

if its like my office its the park & loop set up
so no part timers
however im under no illusion that come the next round of 'savings' this will most likely change

Already six weeks into it in my office and an absolute disaster, people cutting off every day but manager says it will get better. Lots of bullying and harrassment as per usual.
