Don't bother ordering a new blue fleece, they are cr@p, even my LM's agreed with me

Is there an alternative to the Blue Fleece?
I burnt a small hole in mine, while changing a FLT Battery, and was planning to order a new one (had mine 3 years now).

You don't wear a waterproof - they wear you ! Like putting on a bloody suit of armour, hot, uncomfortable and one of the worst items we ever had. The uniform has got worse over the years. The best thing we ever had was the removable sleeved thermal coat - but of course we don't get them anymore. And if you think I'm wearing a soddin' baseball cap :mfo

Had a cold north wind blowing last Friday and Saturday and it just cuts through the new fleece. It would be more effective wearing a newspaper over your shoulders. maybe a use for the courier at last

I'm not allowed to have a waterproof coat, because I work indoors. So it looks like I'll have to order one of the fleeces, and hope for the best.

Oh no, we do have leaks in the roof, from time to time. But we're still not allowed waterproof coats.

You can have mine, I got mine when I first started and it's been worn only 10/12 times because it's so bad (I bought a cheap jacket from Matalan and I just use that with my Hi-Viz when it rains).

Oh, well that gets rid of the need for one. I was only consdering it, because K66yla said the new Fleeces are crap, and K979aaa said the Waterproof ones were better. I guess I'll just order a new Fleece, and see how I get on.
