Hi there guys, hope you are all well.
I have been working for RM now for around 9 months on a 25 hour contract, and was last week moved from a Temporary short term contract to Permanent Long term.
Does this mean i am now receiving the same pay as all the other permanent staff? Can anyone jog my memory of what it is, ive been given two different hourly rates. Also should this be effective from when the contract was made permanent (Ie; In with this weeks pay for last weeks hours)...

Mine is roughly £8.56 per hour without london weighting and all that jazz

You'll be on the same pay as everyone else after you've been there 12 months.
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?

Does the pay rate increase after 6 months too? I was led to believe that it increased by about £1000 a year after this time? (i am full time perm btw)

my pay went up after 6 month then full pay after 12
been there 2 years and hope im on a contract ?

Yes you get a pay rise at 6 and 12 months and then in line with everyone else. If there are any other pay rises agreed in the mean time then you get that pay rise too.

Think it says on your payslip or annual leave card something along the lines of LTFT LTPT (which I imagined read Long Term Full, and part time)

I would imagine so, I am perm and it says the same :) If any full timers are out there I guess they can confirm if they have LTFT on theirs

Hi
I have just joined RMG and noticed that at the top of my paperwork it says LTPT which I am reading as Long Term Part Time.
The job was advertised as Fixed Term and the contract also stipulates a contract end date so I am confused.
I hope it is a long term (permanent) contract as I am thoroughly enjoying a job for once (my last employer couldn't run a p up in a brewery or organise the security for the Olympics either)

Which paperwork?
Best to go with what your contract says. Permanent will say long term at the top and temporary will say fixed term.
