:nana please remember, you now have to be informed in writing of ANY change to your contract--it is not enough for managers (or Union reps) to say it is going ahead-if you just allow them to push this through-and you work the
new hours for a few weeks. this becomes contractual--accept nothing until it is in writing, and appeal against the changes
-this is the only way you will can hope to retain the hours you have.

:nana I think it is about time these team talks were properly recorded. They are usually an excuse for managers to
bully people, and push through all these 'unagreed ' changes, but as always, a few days later , nobody quite remembers
the full content, and the managers makes claims to having been 'agreed, when they have only been discussed.
Remenber the days when the meetings were held on the floor, with everybody being involved, now of course, this
dividing of groups, with a few people in at a time, make it impossible yto get a picture of what people may, or may not, have agreed to. Again, all proposals should be in writing.

What's a team talk?
We barely get WTLL sessions now (the managers seem to have too much to do with pushing yorks around, sorting mail, prepping mail etc.)

We have not had proper WTLL for about a year. But whe have your say comes along managers seem to think they can tell us we have had it so they don't get their butts kicked. Last year they tried to bribe us with CRISPS AND COKE (the drink)

linkinpark wrote:Note to all RM employees! As you know we at Royal Mail are adapting work and are driving for full utilisation of work time, so some may well have noticed over the last few years that as part of this drive we have changed WTLL or work time listening and learning to WTL or work time learning! This move has had the desired affect of saving about half the time on these group discussions because you listen and don’t talk! This has led to us evolving these sessions even more so for your information from now on the new look sessions will be.

1/ You will wear your helmet or will be CODED!
2/ You will wear Hi Viz or you will be CODED!
3/ You will complete or you may be CODED!
4/ You will sort on the IPS at the "rate" or you may be CODED!
5/ You will throw in at the "rate or you maybe CODED!
6/ You will walk at over four MPH or you maybe CODED!
7/ You will not talk whilst at work as this is not utilisation of your work hours and you may be CODED!
8/ You will not ask any hard questions of your managers or you maybe CODED!
9/ You will be flexible (we decide what that is!) or you may well be CODED!
10/ RM expect you to start early and work late and go without MR for nothing if not you are a trouble maker and you will be coded for whatever we can make up!

In order to save even more time and money we are now calling these sessions TB&HS or threatening bullying and harassment sessions that will be on paper beside where you sign in and it should be noted by signing in you are deemed to have seen and agree to whatever we write so will be punished for it after! Your thanks in this matter to US is noted and as a plus to this you will all get another fifty + address points by way of OUR thank you to you because we dont need to pretend to give a sh*t about what you think and waste time talking to you!

Just what i was "WEIGHTING" for you are coded for being a mal content and trouble maker because you notice the small print and care! Now try to over brother that brother! LOL.

Sorry about the spelling but i am crap at it and if you look at my last YouTube vid about Peter Mandelson http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQ4fOKu0Wp8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; you might note my spelling of Iraq! Oops sorry!
Is there a coded message in here somewhere brother - ha, ha, like yourself the odd grammatical error creeps into one or two of my postings on this forum that's why I am always reaching for the edit button. Oh for a decent spell checker! As to the small print, least we forget, our lords and masters are RM and it doesn't do no harm to scrutinize the small print where they are concerned. :whistle
