should be national for all big offices doing the longer opening hours
we order our P739's in batches of 30,000(for our 2 largest postcodes) so stamping isnt a realistic option
edit: theres no reason to mess with blank cards.email ROMEC with the details required on your P739's and budget code, they will then print them off

I'm in a small office (30 odd duties) and I'm sure that one of our 3 managers could order them but we're probably over-budget for P739's too

"for all big offices doing the longer hours" - so is it just the bigger offices that will have the longer hours, this despite that card delivered to all UK addresses not specifying the bigger ones only ?

well AFAIK only the larger offices are doing the longer opening hours
eg 0630 to 1930 hours weekdays
obviously smaller offices will be open as they choose/can be open for xmas collections

I recently worked in an SPDO with only 7 duties and they had all their P739's printed up.

I have understood that we should have been told about these new cards in waste time learning but as the norm i find out from here first,i got asked about the opening times for our office but i don't know what our DIM is going to say on the size of office,he just worries about how much it is going to cost,so thanks for putting it on here now i can tell the staff at work so it wont be such a mess.

I maybe wrong but i think it covers all DOs large and small. Our area SW London has 20 offices, each office has been banded(light, medium etc)and all of them have longer opening hours. Our office opens 08.00-12.30 throughout the year but over xmas it will be open from 06.30-15.00 ,larger offices are open untill 19.00,cant remember the exact date and times but there are longer opening hours.

I asked the DOM this morning about extended opening hours for Callers and evening redeliveries. Our Callers hours will only change for the Sat/Sun before xmas, there will be no evening redeliveries. I forgot to ask him about the xmas P739 cards.

Yes, but what about SPDOs where the mail is collected from the adjoining sub Post Office ?
I've heard nothing of such village staying Post Offices opening later.

I was told that all the cards nationally have the wrong telephone number!

To fill us foot soldiers with Christmas cheer there's a box we can tick to inform the Customer that the package will be re-delivered later on that day. I wonder how nice do the van drivers are going to be to us in order for us not to tick this box!

RML have sent out a notice to all units telling them what hours they have to open the callers/enquiry offices from the 15th onwards. Mine is normally 8 to 1 but we are opening earlier and not shutting untill early evening time.

I think the details may be in the LTB detailing xmas.

As for evening redeliveries if the week commencing 15th december is shut down for annual leave then there will be extra people on site and the reserves can be utlised.
