Signing in and out problems

Post by GoPosties78 »

Have any other delivery offices been having problems with their signing in/out system? Posties in our office have reported issues where they have logged in but the computer says they haven’t. This has led to them being warned and some conducted for not signing in/out when they have. Look forward to seeing if it’s just our office or nationwide.

I could have sworn I signed out a few Saturdays ago but apparently didn't so got my talking to and refused to sign anything.

Regardless, why we aren't signing out and in whilst on deliveries is the question because the process is no longer an accurate picture of who is in the building Health and Safety wise.

That doesn't matter. If the fire brigade had to attend any RM office, they'd do their own search of the building. Don't know about DOs but in MCs we stopped doing role calls during evacuations a few years ago

99% sure that RM is breaking the law in your office, I believe that any place of employment with more than a certain number of staff is required to have a fire drill at least once a year. We can normally tell we've one due when they make us all watch the fire safety video again

Someone in ours got docked a days pay for not signing out. He eventually got it back. Now he signs out on his PDA.

I haven't had a Fire Drill at Greenford MC in 10 years they must occur on my Holiday Weeks or god forbid they ignore that rule just like WTLL last one we had someone asked if Covid would be a problem and people laughed

Its very simple.

Just take a photo 📸 of the screen everyday when signing in/out.

Then you have all of the evidence you need.

RM are probably using a version of the Horizon computer program, I'm.not being funny, these are the most stupid management we've ever had
