P739 to be scrapped, three delivery attempts then delivery officer can kill them off. There will be no need for CSP.

The people that work in our collection point are usually the ones that have had to come off delivery due to I'll health or some kind of disability, there's no other work for them at the DO. Will they lose their jobs if it closes?

This is the big question. Is there any news about this in your office? I can tell you that there is NO confirm news yet and no one have been told officially. Has your manager mentioned it?

Has there been an official announcement on this? And will the CWU fight to stop this?

And will this mean automatic redelivery of parcels?

They'll still need someone to log and process the returned pkts no? Or are you expected to just pile them up in the isle day after day by your frame?

January for ours to close. been told when we try to deliver, any dispatched packets have a card put through customers door to say we will try a redelivery next day, if not in for second attempt, then it will be returned to sender. seems we are going the same way as Evri, DHS, yodel etc.

this type of thing would make me more likely to go to the shops rather than order online.

Probably IHR for those unable to do a delivery?
