Is 'delay of mail' still a thing?
With Royal Mail not employing floats at our depot for 2 years now and therefore purposefully delaying people's mail 1 day per week. With the investigation by Ofcom into failure to stick to delivery targets. With the strikes causing mayhem. With the '10,000 job cuts'.....
Is the USO pretty much irrelevant now and delay of mail not being questioned by management now?

The special dispensation from OFCOM due to COVID really has done so much damage
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

Mention it and be labelled a trouble maker I'm afraid from our experience

Same thing with d2d
People have been sacked over the years for dumping them etc
Now some don't care - loads left at end of week

I remember the days if you brought back mail and got caught you would get sacked/conduct now you can bring back as much as you want as long as the tracked gets delievered.

A few years ago, one letter in your frame would see the mnagers hauling you in to explain yourself.
Now you can pretty much bring back what you want, as long as the tracked are done.

What a load of bollox, our office is swamped with mail due to executive action making walks totally unachievable, yesterday we did tracks & collections only, 100s of Mother's Day & Birthday cards left in the frames

I know it's an older thread but absolutely love how nothing has changed. I work in quite a big DO and yesterday I would estimate only 50/60% of the mail went out leaving thousands of mothers without their cards this morning.
Maybe moonpig and others should start sending cards as tracked items since that's our priority!
