Prioritising mail types

Post by mikep »

Hi all , somewhere on this site previously I am sure that I have read an LTB that all mail types from Tracked to household leaflets should be treated as equally. For example if not completing your round then you should not be asked to prioritise delivery of Tracked items . Am I right? If so I would appreciate a link to the LTB if possible.

I would say don't get into an argument just say you cannot complete as soon as can and let them make the decision of what goes or stays.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

LTB 513/21 - Quality of Service for all Royal Mail USO and Commercial Products
Royal Mail Group is committed to the USO and the delivery, collection and processing of letters, packets and parcels with equal status of importance and where we are experiencing challenges it is important that any required contingencies are agreed locally and must include all commercial and USO products and not priorities T24 and T48 parcels.

Had a mini war with this about 8 to 10 years ago and talk from some experience on it saying DSA mail is costing RM by stealth and demonetization by DHL DUTCH POST AND UK MAIL. This is a battle for one far greater than I but if you are willing to one fill your time and have zero input because know one what it means to them bit like the EU or BREXIT and after the fact of so bloated whale.
