Posting of CWU Ballot Results in Delivery Offices.

Post by Dorset Plodder »

Are the results of the recent CWU Ballot Posted in your Workplace?

If they're not make sure they are ASAP. Another cynical ploy to try and declare the latest ballot illegal has emerged. :no no

For those that are displaying the results: If you look at the Letter To Branch (LTB) is states: "The current legislation requires the union to provide all persons entitled to vote in the ballot and relevant employers "as soon as is reasonablt practicable" after the holding of the ballot the following information ..... and then a list of details.

You can see how RMs Legal Eagles will try and get the ballot declared illegal IF they haven't been displayed correctly.

So if you haven't seen these results posted somewhere around your Delivery Office/Mail Centre etc then start asking questions. I suggest you go straight to you Area Rep. :cuppa

We won't strike during December. There will probably be a general election then

Had a gate meeting this morning. Rep explained that when we originally voted for a "Payrise Only" IA the changes were linked to the payrise. But when Royal Mail gave a us 2% payrise through EA the Changes (that they also want to introduce through EA) became a seperate issue. That's why we're balloting again so quickly.

The First Vote has a 6 month shelf life, so they've just got to link it to the Second Vote .... hopefully another big YES! :cuppa
