Off sick but do I need to tell them when I’m better?

So I’ve been off since Tuesday with a stomach bug. I don’t know when I’ll be better but it’s my week off next week and was wondering if I was off until then would I need to inform them when I’m better during my week off? If I remember rightly last time they classed even my days off as sick days until I said I was better again and came in

Yes, 100% when you are better you have to declare otherwise they will count you as sick not annual leave.

Also, the usual sick rules apply, even when annual leave is involved. Technically you can't be on both so they will count it as sick, and count the days towards stages.

If you were to remain ill and on the sick you will get you annual leave back

Think he means its his Hereford. But yea still tell them late Saturday morning so they take you off ready for your Hereford and don't count it towards a stage.
