Did any other offices get this brief this morning about pressure overtime?

If people on 25 hour a week contracts are being asked to or pressured to not work their say usual 10-12 hours a week then that's pretty poor if you ask me.

We have it, no overtime allowed to be booked at all... which is- as a part timer who is reliant on that extra few quid a week that getting called in early gets me- a real kick in the teeth

To make things worse they only told people who it wouldn't affect, leaving those newbies/ reserves on long duties to go out without knowing they won't get anything for working over their time. Got told off for bringing absorption back, but if you ain't paying, I ain't working

Apparently managers had conference call yesterday. Nothing changed in our office though.

That was my first thought but that's ATD (in the OP), not Pressure.

Can't take ATD away else you'll be going home halfway through a round.

Yes, informed this morning, no pressure O/T to be booked, back to concentrate on S/D's and Tracked if you think you won't complete.

Asked a manager about this today he has no idea what i was talking about, maybe this move is tactical royal mail know a lot of postal workers rely on overtime maybe their getting ready for industrial action which they know is coming.

Yes was told in our WTL meeting this morning no pressure o/t to be booked for the foreseeable. It doesn’t apply to working your rest days but will sure have an impact as we rely on early morning sorters to clear what would be a safety hazard with York’s in our tiny office as agreed a long time ago. You couldn’t make this up but it might be an upper management tactic to try to stir up unofficial action to their advantage…..who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️
