Where I worked before the "reward" for 30 years service was a letter of thanks. There was a template to use so that it should have been foolproof to complete -even for managers.

My 30yr reward was a meal, the nearest place though was over 30 mile away. I thought if that's the best you can do stick it! I said I'll go if it's in my own town, they said they'll put me on the list for next year something else might come up. Lol they never even bothered getting back to me 4 yrs later I'm still waiting...
