Magnum Boots

It seems that they have discontinued the Magnum Boots (RYZ3 I think). The ordering site says they are to be replaced but there doesn't seem to be an equivalent available. Does anyone know what they are to be replaced with and when? I need a higher boot to support my ankle due to an old injury and found the Magnum Boots perfect.

They got rid of the magnum shoes aswell. Which were the only Royal Mail footware i liked! The new ones are too big to drive in.

The replacements are crap. They are the boots with the glow strip on them. Cheaply made sh1t and uncomfortable as hell.

Oh is that the replacement, I have a pair and you are right they are uncomfortable and don't go high enough. I expect the Magnum Boots were too expensive. Shame as they were by far the best Royal Mail foot ware I have worn.

I'm in the exact same boat. The StormFlex almost-boots are so cheap that I had to finish punching out the eyelets in order to lace them. I should have claimed OT for that.

I tried in December to get a hold of some new ones and manager said well unless you’re a size 15 then you’re out of luck. Shame as never liked the trainer style they offer and had been wearing the Magnum boots for a solid number of years…new kit gets cheaper and cheaper.
