There have been a number of incidents reported where lap top batteries have overheated causing the potential for fire. Laptops can overheat, due to prolonged use, batteries can warp and become damaged.
To raise the profile of this problem, SHE Flash FY003 – Overheating Laptop Batteries has been launched. If you are a lap top user, please read and follow the guidelines in the attached.

Rochester lino why are we not then going to the CWU to get them to agree to Everyone not being paid for the first 2/3 days of sickness, I have no doubt that this would reduce that amount (sick absence £ amount) considerably
