New year week, day off fell on Tuesday (bank holiday in Scotland) asked to be paid, was back at work Wed Thurs and part day Friday, then had to isolate due to a family members testing positive. Been told they are not paying me for that day due is this correct?

How can that be right? The bank holiday and you having to isolate later are not connected! If you'd had to isolate
the Monday after would they still try to not pay you - how ridiculous and petty!
Get your union rep onto it!
Just to boIster your case and assuming you were told by NHS Scotland to isolate, have you got a text
or email that tells you to do so?
