Evening all, I hope everyone is staying safe at these testing times.
I am back on delivery now after a short stint on nights in distribution. I was hoping to return to my previous DO when I came off nights, however they didn't have a full time position for me so I moved to another local DO. My current office is a 25 mile daily round trip whereas my previous DO is a 5 minute walk. It seems (like many probably are) that my local office are very short of staff at the moment with at least 6 vacancies, unfortunately the highest contract is 30 hours. My current DOM is aware that I want to return to my old DO ASAP. Would it be possible to ask if I could be loaned back to my previous DO if both managers agree to it? Current office has about 2 vacancies out of 200 plus staff so are in a better position than the other. Any help would be most appreciated.
